Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Keep at it - you got this! Took me over 4 months but I got the job that I’ve wanted as well after numerous rejections.
Just got my first two job offers, today, after 6 months of rejection after rejection. I can tell ya, it's rough out there. I always ask the recruiter and main manager if there was a specific reason why I was not selected, so that I may improve upon that area. I usually need to put more detailed project information, research areas I've worked in, and include skills that relate to each JD. All while still keeping a simple resume design to pass those screening bots. Just negotiated a higher salary by the end of today and accepted that offer when they accepted my counter. Keep at it. You'll be at the top of their lists eventually as you continously learn from each rejection.
Dont be afraid to start over with a new resume design too. I started a new simpler looking resume design two months ago, computerized rejection rate decreased. Started getting human written email rejections lol. But I was that much closer to each acceptance.
