Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

What is it you think we stand for as a country? This is 100% a political move on the new administration part and it's a very sensitive political topic for leadership at our firms to deal with. It's simply much smarter to stay objective and not let emotions slip into company wide emails.
I kind of feel she did take a stance a little bit, albeit not explicitly ("inclusive environment" etc.). I don't see what else you can expect from her - taking a firm stance & publicly condemn will cause all sorts of problems for her & others...
No one in their right mind will post an internal email on a public forum. That said, I have zero issues with the email. Dividing our own people by taking a stance either way doesn't help anything.
ATK's leadership has a stance
I applaud her neutral stance, my alma mater issued a statement which I thought was completely inappropriate and one sided. I will definitely be redirecting my annual givings somewhere else this year
ATK will be owned by Accenture next year, they can take all the stances they want. It's like Obama issuing all those pardons on his last day

I'm not about our company taking political stances but I don't feel that this is political. I feel like it is unprecedented and against what we stand for as a country. If you feel otherwise, I'd really like to hear your perspective on how this was warranted given the information we have and past actions by refugees from these countries (serious).

Insufferable huh? I derive my opinions on a case by case basis. To me, this EO is disgusting and based on no facts saying we need something like this to protect us. I asked for the other perspective and instead get "you guys are insufferable". Nice
They weren't initially exempt and I'm looking as much at the spirit of the EO as how it is being applied. Not a fan of CU. Voted for Hillary (not that it matters anymore - she lost, Trump is president, he answers for his EOs.

Also, the ban is just an expansion of Obama era policy. He previous banned refugees from a Muslim majority country because of terrorism. Trump also banned based on the countries identified from a 2015 Obama signed law. Was the implementation of the EO bad? Yes. But everyone flipping out now that didn't flip out in 2011 when Obama did this is a giant hypocrite.
By being anti-CU but wanting corporations to take public stances on political issues you agree with, you are essentially saying that corporations should be banned unless they are speaking up on liberal issues.
