They’re not looking at your base salary when decide who to let go from the bench. If you’re performing you’ll be ok. Good luck and congrats.
You'd be surprised
Btw, I loved my time at Accenture and learned a ton. I still keep in touch with some of my colleagues and mentors from there…it was an awesome experience. I’m sure you’ll love it to…just be ready to work for the experience. :)

I’m in applied intelligence, we need bodies. So welcome! We have offered higher than that to consultants but they rejected us. Last offer at consultant level was 165k and 50k sign off.. The candidate rejected it. No need to have impostor syndrome, we need you desperately!
@c1 maybe.... maybe not... not all YOE is the the same...
Yeah basically but more curious how you're valued at 150k w 3 years of experience. I'd expect little to no raises at Accenture for a while
At 150k and probably 25 or 26 even minimal promotions will be fine.
If someone is cheaper with same skill, it will make it harder for you to be staffed. For applied intelligence, it's not the highest I seen depending on your level. Good luck! Maybe I'll staff you in the future of you're good or maybe the other way around! Welcome to the team!
Are you a CS major?? This is insane. What does this group do also
Dang dude congrats..CS is by far the best major in undergrad.
Congrats on the awesome achievement! It’s worth celebrating and savoring.
Accenture is notorious for over hiring in good times and firing during bad times. I spent a few years at Accenture about a decade ago, and during lean periods, they were laying off anyone on the bench longer than 6 weeks. You would receive an email at 4 weeks, then a call with your practice lead and HR at 6 weeks to let you go. In a hot economy like now, you should have some runway to settle in and get going. Go in with the mindset that you have to be the best and outwork everyone around you to do so. I spent most weekends working during my first year at Accenture….mostly because I wasn’t as strong as my competition yet and it took the weekend work to stay up to par (for me).
Im not telling you this to scare you, but so that you can steel yourself for what’s required. I’m sure you have what it takes to do it, but it’s on you to fight for it. To be fair, Accenture may not be as cut throat as I remember it, but just wanted to give you a “heads-up” and wish you luck….
Good luck!
@OP - they rarely make an offer if you’re not qualified. Once you’re in, effort is 90%. You’ll do great :)

It’s not as cut throat as Deloitte that’s for sure. But more cutthroat than EY and KPMG.

What level?
That's the thing. Ops raises will be like 1k a year
