Do all of the big 4 firms give you a company credit card? At KPMG they give us one for our travel expenses. What do other firms do/ how do they handle travel?

Currently working as a consultant in the US for a software company. Moving to UK next year for personal reasons and my company is sponsoring my visa and has offered me a Product Manager position (per my request to make a career change). Currently at 155 TC in the US and not sure how negotiate UK salary for a new position.

Would love New Years recommendations within a 90 minute flight from Malaga, Spain. Leaning towards ski towns but open to other suggestions. Anyone have any recs? Thanks!

Living in Van. Previously lived in Toronto. Obviously rent prices are high as is cost of living. Generally go out and spend more often living in a city. Boyfriend and I on good salary but not saving much due to the above. Before we move home to our own country, we’d love to spend a year close to Vancouver where rent is cheaper, temptation is less, to save. A commute to Vancouver 1-2 times a month needs to be possible (his job). That can be a flight if it’s not crazy. Thoughts? Recommendations?

Starting as an SM in S&A on the strategy side in the next few weeks. What does travel budget generally look like? I understand first class flights are a no go domestic which sucks, but hoping hotel and food budget makes up for it. Also, does Deloitte pay for platinum Amex or is that out of pocket?

I have an H1b which I received in 2019 and was valid till august2021, due to covid I wasn't able to travel and then I switched to another firm last year in November. If I get visa transfer, will it provide me a validity back as I haven't used any on site time on that visa.

Hey All,
I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
