Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?

Are they able to hike the salary of what VMware is offering? Please suggest me.

Hi I have 1 year experience in SAP Fico in capgemini and have ctc of 4.25 lakhs. I cleared two technical rounda where deep domain related questions were asked and it seems interview went very well and told I be getting Hr call for further process. Fishes please tell me how much hike should I ask from infosys for Associate consultant : SAP Fico position? I was thinking to ask 100 percent hike ie. 8.5 lakhs. I read on glassdoor the avg salary is 8.5 lakhs. Please help me how much hike should i ask Capgemini

Yes. Security Cloud Solution Architect, Security Technical Specialist, and Security Global Black Belt roles at Microsoft all pay much more than that for any senior and above role. Similar roles at Wiz, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cloudflare, Google, Crowdstrike, and Zscaler all will have TCOs over $250k.
I’m not a fan of certifications. I pay zero attention to them when interviewing candidates. If they have too many certs I pay extra attention to whether they can backup what is on their resume. STAR format and dive deep into every assertion of skill.
For that pay range, it's often a mix of being an IC & a people manager. Basically, a manager who can be an IC as well.
Could be a director with a few managers directly reporting in. Example: CapitalOne

Cyber as in audit or cyber as in security engineer? Security engineer you can easily clear that in tech
Most highly technical jobs can hit this for large corps. Less on the soft/grc side but still some out there. Needs to be a digital business with significant threats. (Cap One was a good example but plenty out there).
Enterprise Architect in Industry it’s pretty hard to hit that without being in a tech company and getting RSU’s included in that 250k+. I’m pretty much topped out at 225k + pension, but I work 38hrs a week. In tech I worked about double that if I included travel time. Only working 38hrs a week I can do side work and break 300k. I prefer this approach rather than putting everything on one employer.
