I legit have soooo many black chin hairs and it keeps getting worse. Sometimes o pluck but mainly just use that little razor EVERY DAY. Debating laser.
Thank you for the responses! I have sensitive acne-prone skin so I’m worried about using nair. I’ve waxed in the past but I use actives in my skincare and I find the wax now burns my skin. I’m a Black women with lighter skin so am also concerned about laser/electrolysis causing hyperpigmentation/scarring (as I’ve heard stories). I get my eyebrows threaded but can’t imagine the pain for the whole face! I do have a face epilator but again, terrified of the pain so haven’t used it yet. But I will try it after a shower, thanks for that tip. The struggle is REAL!

Black and also acne prone. I also use actives. My chin hair as I aged grew thicker and then I got more.
I lasered my chin with a yag laser and I wish I did it sooner!!! For the actives, after you select your reputable med spa, typically you stop a few days before and after the treatments to ensure no burns or scars occur.
I’ve since moved on and done the same for my full legs, under arms, happy trail and vag. I also suffer from KP and it helped TREMENDOUSLY with that. I was floored.
I’ve had a positive experience and end result in all areas. I wouldn’t give up on laser just yet.
And, to be honest, I’m one of the lucky ones that scored a Groupon voucher 🫣. The spa I go to that’s 90% of their service.
Electrolysis is a good option, especially for facial hair
I use an epilator to get rid of my peach fuzz. Do it after a shower so it doesn’t hurt as badly.
Threading is totally the way to go!
Uh! Its so painful. There are better ways for sure. Epilator works just fine. I used to dermaplane but then started using this hair remover I bought from amazon and loving it so far. Still dermaplane once a month for dead skin.
Nair, but probably not the best option if you have sensitive skin. I’ve never had an issue with it.
I pluck my chin hairs but I worry about scarring so not sure what else to do - might look up these other options cause honestly idk what any of them means :)
I get monthly facial waxes and also wax my lip at home every 2 weeks. It also helps my makeup apply smoother.
Laser hair removal for lip and then at home dermaplanning every few weeks. Laser is an investment and expensive but sooo worth it!
Just do laser. You’ll forget you had facial hair after 5-6 treatments
Manager 1, are you black?
Finishing touch flawless facial remover from amazon. Easy and painless process. I wanted to get laser but I suffer from melasma and I am worried it might make my skin more sensitive to sun.
Is that just an epilator essentially?
