I have an offer on the table from a competitor and I’m struggling with a decision. My boss and I get along great and I’m extremely valued, but not seeing any growth opportunity in the future. Same boss is also not kind to most of the team and can be toxic. What they’ve told me regarding growth would be sales (in other words, relying on others), and nothing is being sold. Naturally, the competitor is raving about the growth opportunities. Does anyone have a similar experience or advice?

My brother is currently designated as a automotive designer with a design studio in Italy.

Have you ever been misdiagnosed by your doctor? I went to my primary doctor for pelvic pain and inflammation after sex. She swore I had an STI after a pelvic exam and she did a cervical swab to test. She treated me the same appointment before the test results came back. I got a shot 500 mg of ceftriaxone. And also some type of antibiotic pills. The tests came back negative. I never had an STI. I had a yeast infection :/ I was treated for the wrong thing

Hi! I'm working on my annual goals. Has another done theirs and adjusted them to reflect the pandemic? How so? I asked in a couple of fora with Gen Ed teachers and they all mentioned Family Engagement and differentiation but that's already the bread and butter of what I do!

I had a student tell me that he was learning more English by playing a Clue-like game called, Among Us. He asked if I could host a game for the class. The next day, during a workshop, the speaker brought it up as well. I checked it out and it looks promising and would certainly hook the students. Has anyone tried this?

Is it worth it to teach ESL students terms like nouns and verbs when they need to learn to speak for communication and just gain vocabulary?
