If you’re booking tickets via Etihad, please DM me.
My travel got canceled and Etihad gave me travel bank balance. I have $1.4k in balance, and can give a 10% discount
Those of you who have went from having no car to having a car in the city...do you have any regrets? Even before Covid, I’ve often felt so “stuck” without a car, but I‘ve always been too cheap to seriously consider it. (Should mention that I don’t travel much for work, so that might make a difference in answers in the bowl.) Is it life changing!?
Worked every weekend for the past month and haven't had time to visit the dry cleaners... how frequently do you use hotel dry cleaning? What's the expense policy around this?
Anyone have first hand experience with travel medical insurance? Looking to purchase for a short trip but finding so many mixed reviews from people that have had to actually try and use it. Appreciate any recommendations!
Planning to spend some IHG points as a treat for my brother.
Is it possible to use the points and book a hotel under a different name? Or how does this work?
Are the larger hotel chains (Hyatt, Best Western, etc.) better to work for than the smaller one-off organizations? I'm sure they're not all the same but I'm curious
Anyone have any tips/gadgets to fall asleep better on the road? Once I’m at a hotel for a few weeks I can adjust to the bed/environment but the first few weeks are brutal (fall asleep at 3/4am)

Any options for folks in Big4 consulting (with MBA) who want to make a move to internal work so there's no more travel? I love my home office and there has to be domestic functions...

Hi all, if this is not the right place to post this please ignore. We have an you tube channel specifically for travel and my kids work on it. They love creating. I am interested to find out how I can grow it more. Here is the channel and if anyone can give me some feedback thanks
I currently have the Chase sapphire preferred and Hyatt credit cards. I mainly use the Hyatt just for its perks when I stay there and transfer my chase points to Hyatt since that is the hotel I am loyal to. I typical save my points for hotels as Hyatt has fantastic redemption. I am thinking of adding the Amex gold to the mix. Thoughts on that combo?
Hi, I am looking to buy 70k United miles, please let me know if anyone is selling them? Or how I can buy these from United? Thanks!
What is better hertz or Avis loyalty program? I have been on hertz (president circle status due to united status) and collected points a few free rental days now. But hertz always seems so much more expensive to me for personal trips and I end up buying Avis. Should I just shift to Avis? United has also ended its partnership with Hertz now, hence wondering.
There was a time when if I smelled Patchouli, I knew you were at a Grateful Dead concert. These days, you could be coming from a concert or a Marriott?
How do solo mothers travel for client work? Im still primarily remote but I don’t imagine I can avoid travel forever. I am not near family and do not have much physical support from my partner. I do have financial resources to hire a nanny but heard overnight care can be problematic.
I’m a clinical manager at a small practice( one provider) in which we are extremely understaffed. I am currently juggling multiple roles of front desk and surgery scheduling duties plus managerial duties. My pay is 22/hr. Just wanted to ask if that is a fair pay, because lately I’ve been feeling burnt out and underpaid for the amount of work i put in.
I’ve worked 2 years at a non profit 501c 3 tech startup. When I started there were 6 employees we now have 22. I am considered a part of leadership and am a people manager in addition to my sales role. I am a high performer and last year got a 10% raise (which I asked for). This year I was offered 5%. I am going to counter but curious what anyone thinks I should ask for. I was thinking 8%.
The mods are thinking of starting a weekly series where we breakdown the compensation / salary of an in-house counsel offer. It will include variables like location, YOE, alma mater tier, company sector, and company size.
Would this be of interest to the community?
How hard was the prosci certification exam for you? (I know, significantly easier than CPA, etc). Wondering because I’m pretty bad at test taking.
Anyone who works at Salesforce, what's the deal with certifications? Do they waive the fee? Do we get a stipend for getting one or specific high demand ones?

How do you assure yourself that your baby (7 months) is crying at night for reasons that can be helped by sleepy training and not pain or illness? My daughter cries bloody murder, like she’s in horrible pain or something, several times a night. There’s no “always” solution: sometimes she settles with a bottle, sometimes with cuddles, sometimes a diaper change, etc. I’m just at loss, especially as she is perfectly fine and happy during the day.
Hi Does anyone here have information about Capital Group’s CAP program? I would love to chat about your experience and learn more about the program. Thanks! Capital Group

Hey all, I’ve been a solutions architect associate for a year now as my first tech job out of college. I was able to get my AWS SAA Certification and followed that with Azure AZ-900. What is a normal salary range for someone in my position who recently graduated last May with a year of experience and holding these two certifications?
I just bombed my first case interview. The interviewer said I seemed lost, and he wasn't wrong. Nerves definitely got the best of me. I have the second part of the interview (another case with a different interviewer) coming up next week. I guess I'm wondering if I blew the whole thing? Is there any hope with a strong showing next week that I can still move forward?
Anyone attended Airbus managerial round ?
Can you please share your experience.

Out of curiosity spurned by the ongoing MP search at McK, does anyone know what the “CEO’s” of the consulting world make?
Should I invest in a rental property here or stock market? Pretty young (mid 20s) and inexperienced in real estate but have some cash for covering most of the cost of a cheap 1 BA/BR in the city. People who have invested, is getting a rental property too much of a headache to be worth it?
I started keto a few weeks ago and lost 15 pounds after 2 weeks. After those 2 weeks, I've seen little to no weight loss. Am I doing something wrong?
Anyone willing to refer? Looking to exit industry? Location constraint: Bangalore, India.

I have a game I love to play at the airport. I find someone who has the most vague resemblance to someone famous and then insist they are that person.
Like "Oh my God, you're Tom Hanks! I love so many of your movies and I think you are great and so funny in interviews. How are you feeling? I heard you had covid?"
Guy who very very vaguely resembles Tom Hanks insists he isn't. Then I keep insisting he is.
This is a fun way to pass time during layovers.
Thankfully I had 4A. The dude across the aisle to my right was not so lucky. The entire flight he was the recipient of Susan's MLM pitch

Totally random. Has anyone seen the HBO series The Flight Attendant? I binged it over the last 2 weeks. Thought it was pretty interesting but can't imagine anyone carrying off that many bottles off a plane unnoticed much less drinking them all at once.
