Those of you who have went from having no car to having a car in the city...do you have any regrets? Even before Covid, I’ve often felt so “stuck” without a car, but I‘ve always been too cheap to seriously consider it. (Should mention that I don’t travel much for work, so that might make a difference in answers in the bowl.) Is it life changing!?

They are going to file a business visa(l can stay up to 90 days). I want to spend some more time there( atleast 2 months). How I can convince them to increase this duration?

What is better hertz or Avis loyalty program? I have been on hertz (president circle status due to united status) and collected points a few free rental days now. But hertz always seems so much more expensive to me for personal trips and I end up buying Avis. Should I just shift to Avis? United has also ended its partnership with Hertz now, hence wondering.

I’ve worked 2 years at a non profit 501c 3 tech startup. When I started there were 6 employees we now have 22. I am considered a part of leadership and am a people manager in addition to my sales role. I am a high performer and last year got a 10% raise (which I asked for). This year I was offered 5%. I am going to counter but curious what anyone thinks I should ask for. I was thinking 8%.

How do you assure yourself that your baby (7 months) is crying at night for reasons that can be helped by sleepy training and not pain or illness? My daughter cries bloody murder, like she’s in horrible pain or something, several times a night. There’s no “always” solution: sometimes she settles with a bottle, sometimes with cuddles, sometimes a diaper change, etc. I’m just at loss, especially as she is perfectly fine and happy during the day.

Hey all, I’ve been a solutions architect associate for a year now as my first tech job out of college. I was able to get my AWS SAA Certification and followed that with Azure AZ-900. What is a normal salary range for someone in my position who recently graduated last May with a year of experience and holding these two certifications?

I just bombed my first case interview. The interviewer said I seemed lost, and he wasn't wrong. Nerves definitely got the best of me. I have the second part of the interview (another case with a different interviewer) coming up next week. I guess I'm wondering if I blew the whole thing?
