Hey guys,
I got selected to HCL Technologies , had submitted my documents and all the required information also updated my joining form in discover HCl website. It also shows that my bgv is completed but I have'nt recieved myoffer letter it has been more than a week. I also have a service agreement to fill it requires my date of joining which I think will be in my offer letter. Can any one help me and say how will this move from now.

A lot of S& partners feel betrayed by the ex-Booz partners who voted in favor of the acquisition and shortly thereafter went to McKinsey / BCG, but malice isn't really there for the firms at a whole.
I've never come across them at a client. I've been at clients after they've been there. Common theme is "We hired McKinsey, they gave us a report, but the plan they provided is not actionable and too high level. Can you help with practical advice?".

I think most don't care either way. There are def some (louder ones) that hate however, and to P1's point, part of this is most surely envy.

I don't hate anybody (except some clients). BCG vs McK was a really tough decision; I am pretty sure I would have liked it there too.
Considering that my firm is full of McKinsey rejects, I'd say it's less hate and more a measured envy.

What P1 said -- have had many clients say "McKinsey came in and dropped a 300 page report. It was pretty, but nobody knew what to do with it" that's when we come in, in my limited experience
We love McKinsey. Usually get all the downstream work and also occasionally fix what they did.
