Hello Fishes, Our project management asked us to return the assets by Oct 1st. They are forcing us to pick any upcoming Saturday's to return the assets, that to we need to report the office by 10 am to return the system. Does this "return to pick up" option in Ultimatix still works or we need to go to office only to return the system.? Tata Consultancy

Absolutely yes, yes, and yes,.we used to be afraid of robots taking jobs from humans back in the day,,the sad part is that we became robots unfortunately and not the smart kind if I may add,,we became the worst robots you can imagine..we still didn't learn any lessons from the covid era,,where people had to learn how to actually live together and get along..lots of people couldn't and had to get divorced because they were forced to stay home day in and day out,,something new other then,he goes to work and she goes who knows where,,and only see each other occasionally or on the weekends but not everyday,,we forgot how much we need each other as human on the larger scale and out in every field. Is it too late??I don't know, can we fix this??I still don't know. But I do know it's very damaging and dangerous if we keep passing it on to generations somewhere somehow we must break the cycle

So true — it feels like we’ve lost touch with what really makes us human. The pandemic showed us both how fragile and how important our connections are. Hopefully, we can learn and rebuild before it’s too late. Breaking that cycle is definitely the challenge of our time.

Too many times, they are just checked boxes. Yes, feedback should be continous. Also, grade inflation is real. And I blame US Bank, they were the first I saw with their 5-star service BS.
To me, 3 stars is a great score. You performed exactly as expected, you got me exactly what I needed, and you treated me as I want to be treated. 4 stars means you went above and beyond, and did awesome. Great job. 5 stars means you were amazingly perfect, even more than perfect. You are a one-in-a-million person.
But, at the time, if the US Bank employees didn't get 5 stars, they only got a paltry 4 stars, they were written up!!
Same thing with evaluations. Being average isn't good enough. Doing exactly what you are expected to do means corporate wants us to start moving you out of a job. And definitely no raises for you.
On mystery shops, a 90 is failure, and a write-up. When I was in school, 90 was an A, just about the highest grade you could get.
And yes, this constant striving for excellence is unhealthy. It is stressful to constantly give your all. You can do better? Well, why didn't you do better already?
And we wonder why the pushback on this is people "acting their wage"

You nailed it — the constant push for perfection turns normal, solid work into a stress marathon. When average becomes “failure,” it’s no wonder people check out or push back. Real recognition should be about balance, not burnout.
So dependent on the person delivering the reviews. I’ve had managers who genuinely discussed those checkboxes and went beyond, and I’ve had others who were very vague and basically gave me a pass or fail grade.
Pro
Exactly—reviews can be hit or miss depending on the manager. The ones who take the time to dig deeper make all the difference, while vague feedback just leaves you guessing.
