Do we need to worry about further layoffs in CTS? I have been in VCDP since yesterday Feb 14. My project end date is 28th Feb. Currently in it as non-billable. Joined CTS in Jan 2023 as SA. Such a stupid scenario. They have hired me but not giving work.

I just finished a big jury trial with a senior partner (SP). There were co-parties w/separate counsel. SP mentally checked out, to the point that co-counsel was asking what SP was doing/if SP was okay. I ended up handling most everything. SP did a few parts but went rogue and did things that were offensive/risky/bad for client. It became clear that SP is not performing like SP used to and may be a liability. Do I tell someone at my firm? Don’t want to offend SP or cause drama, but I’m concerned.

When presented with designed screens for an app and asked to review it and finalise it, how long will it take you to pick up the trail and come back to the client with feedback? Say around 10 screens.

Why do partners feel the need to speak when they obviously have very superficial knowledge about the topic? So exhausting pushing back on stupid ideas, needless analysis, unnecessary credit taking attempts and spending time making their input sound coherent with what was already aligned with client.
