Is there such thing as a true account role at major branding agencies? Ex. Interbrand, Landor, Pentagram...Sounds like in many cases it’s actually just PM under a different name.

It is elementary that the development of a theory is based on completed and finished works or theories with a sufficient basis to be possible. But what were guys like Plato based on? He could only rely on what his mind told him. It must have been very difficult but at the same time, they were very brave in defending their ideas.

I found out today the person who got hired to replace me is getting paid way more than me.
I’m leaving anyway in a few days but I feel really unappreciated. I changed my last date to train the new hire but now I want to stick to my official date which was Friday. Any thoughts?

My manager kept telling me how much he appreciate what I did for the team and he was only expecting less than 30% of what I do for them. I feel like he was lying and they wanted to pay more to get better applicants

I went to school in the PNW (Portland Oregon) and relocated to CA not too long after graduating. Some questions for you, what interested you in radiation therapy? Here's a wannabe coach who needs some guidance. I am 26 y/o, have worked in research and corporate world. As i entered the adult world and started working when 20y/o i missed the time i used to volunteer for organizations talking about leadership and motivation. I have a job that fulfills me, working in a top company blah blah but i don't feel i am giving to the world. Social media makes me feel people need guidance. I want be a coach but what's the best way to start?

Motivation is key when it comes to bettering yourself, your team and your brand. Without self-motivation, you'll be less likely to inspire your team to work together to better your business. Like a muscle, self-motivation becomes stronger the more you use it. Mastering the art of self-motivation will take some time to become a habit. However, with daily practice, you'll not only better yourself and your business, you'll inspire your team to lead more meaningful personal and professional lives.

Anyone else frustrated with the lack of follow through from potential employers? I have had two companies undercut my ability to have an equal chance to compete for a role. One company kept telling me a second interview would happen in a few weeks. Nothing for 3 months even with my check ins. To just find out the role was filled. Another company flat out said they couldn’t find my application (in their system where it was attached to job req number) and filled the role.

I work in security and would love one day to transition more of strategic business leader. I would want this career coach to understand the field and the path to success and have connections to be able to do this.

How much do you charge/would you charge for a workshop? A gym is trying to get me to do a workshop for compound movements (2-3 hours) and they seem to think I’ll just do it for my rate of personal training. There’s no way in hell Im doing that for $65 lmao.

I am a middle school coach, and many of my students request that I use discord to help track progress outside of school. Has anyone used discord for coaching before? Is it worth downloading and making a server?

Many of my health & fitness colleagues are finding themselves out of work. The next big question is, will they ever go back to a gym or health club. How is everyone’s coaching programs going? What are your mid-year goals?

There's a lot of backstory to this but I can only type so much SO I've been with my company for 10.5 hours and just found out they've increased their base pay for starting employees $3-5/hr. I have received my annual 3-4% raises, only because I always make sure to ask for it, but nothing more. They didn't even acknowledge my 10 year anniversary with the company and it's a pretty small company (less than 100 employees). I feel I should get a $3-5/hr raise since the base pay was raised. Thoughts?
