This is my current situation, Have you thought about transitioning to a different area …social work is pretty broad
I definitely do. I wish I would’ve switched fields to something they pays better and doesn’t require nights or weekends and doesn’t leave you mentally exhausted every day. I wish I could go back and tell my college self to not do it, to pick a better paying field and use the extra funds to help with causes or charity organizations I’m passionate about.
There are other ways to help.
I got my masters in 2019 and never got licensed. I debate all the time if I should get it and if I should have waisted my time doing the schooling. Currently in the social work world doing policy but didn’t have to go to school for it. What are you doing and how long have you been in it? Are you thinking about transitioning to something else?
