Can’t hurt.
I always do it but I'm GenX
Always, why not?
Only if offered the role will I ever do that. If not offered the role then I won't waste my time drafting any emails as they won't care too much about it. One less e-mail in my inbox is awesome!
I send a brief email it right after the interview- if the interviewer seemed thoughtful and someone I’d like to work for. I hate how companies can’t even be bothered to send an automated rejection letter. It’s disrespectful. I try not to be an a$$ like that
I only do it if I really want the role vs. just casually interviewing with no expectations

This is why I always do it. I always want to pretend it’s my top choice until I see the offer letter
I do it always, regardless of how the interview went or whether I want the job or not. It’s a matter of professional courtesy.
