Do you think experience makes engineers more open-minded or more set in their ways? I’ve seen examples of both, but the best engineers seem to get more curious over time, not less.

I recently visited for the first time the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the stadium of the world-famous Real Madrid team, and despite being a physical engineer, I can not help but recognize that civil engineers are magicians, my congratulations to them.
