You likely have to demonstrate business case, which would be tough in this case
I would be surprised if you couldn't get some assistance. Likely not fully paid like GSAP though.
There is Tuition Assistance if your willing to do it part time and work at the same time. I have heard of a manager out of the Detroit office that got her MSW paid for by Deloitte so apparently doable.
I realize that it is outside the norm MBA, MPP that is usually covered, but they're not specific about what they do and do not cover. Admittedly, the business case would be a stretch, but it sounds like approving it just comes down to individuals saying yes so as long as you get the right PPDs in board, it seems feasible. What do you think?
SC1- agree. I have a few ideas, but can you think of a way to spin it? A MSW or a MA in counseling/MA in Psychology
I think your chances are slim, id put it at 5% and I think that is being generous. But maybe you are in a niche practice and can demonstrate its benefit?
Very interesting. Thanks! No, it's pretty much a stretch all around, but who knows. I kind of want to leave consulting to become a therapist
So, I've read all of the paperwork and it is unclear- does tuition assistance apply to only degree programs or could we use it for one-off classes? Being able to just take one or two psych classes could quench my thirst and could help bolster my app
D2- wow, awesome! I always pictures it being part-time. Any chance you might be able to send me her name via burner?
