I took the CISSP then the CCSP a few months later. For the CCSP I purchased the official book, Skipped to the questions at the back of the chapter, if I didn't do well I read that part of the chapter or the whole chapter. Then I went to the questions at the back of the book and did the same thing. For items that I needed to memorize I wrote them by hand into a notebook. There's a lot of repeat from the CISSP. I took it a few years back. I did not find It as hard as the CISSP. I already had the AWS solutions architect certification which helped as well.
I'm in vulnerability management. It does help me understand client cloud environments and how remediation differs from legacy environments. CCSP it's high level. AWS certs are more operational and will actually help you understand what tech teams do day-to-day.
