Does anybody in PA know why the firm cares so much if you’re licensed in the state of your home office? I assume bc they can’t charge clients as much if your licensed in another state or something?

Anyone have a standing desk recommendation between the Fully Jarvis vs Uplift V2 vs Autonomous Smartdesk 2? Leaning towards the Jarvis but the Autonomous one seems 50% cheaper, but can’t really tell what the drawbacks are according to their website/reviews

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. I join tcs by changing my profile and my previous exp was in 5 yr pre-sales.
I am giving my best in work but still escalations are raised against me by client.
