Hi Fishes, I grabbed an offer at Accenture with 12 LPA fixed for Level 9. I'm not getting a retention offer from my current company at 13.5 lpa. How do I go about a counter offer with Accenture HR? Also tell me how to approach this situation smoothly.
If HR doesn't fulfill the counter offer, is it ok to accept 12 lpa fixed for Level 9 and when will I get a hike here and how much would it be approximately?

I’ve recently switched and really enjoy it here, the culture is warm / welcoming and benefits on par with consulting (revamped program launched right before I joined, 4 weeks vacation, 4-5 months pat/mat leave, 6% match of salary into 401K, etc). Better pay for more WLB, can’t complain.
My team is great as well, but as it goes with any new job, YMMV. Good luck with the process!

I was fortunate enough to get a package to leave S&P Global this last year. I spent 15 years with IHS Markit, which was acquired by S&P just over a year ago. S&P just seemed so disorganized, and communication is horrible. I was in the FP&A department. I had an opportunity to stay on, but opted to take the package they were offering and head for the door.
S&P, and companies like it, seem like they’re in an interesting space to me. Something different than selling or doing straight up consulting work.
