It can be so tough breaking into I workplace. Sometimes they're not hiring, sometimes they have a hiring freeze, sometimes they have too many applicants to get through. It can be so frustrating, I'm sorry you're going through that.
Personally, with everything going on internally at Molina, I wouldn't waste your time. Find a job that will 1 pay you your worth and 2 treat you like an actual human being.
I agree. I interviewed with them last year. Now, they want you to have 1 year QNXT experience even for their entry level (which 1 year is not entry level) positions. Unless you have been job hopping every 2 years from MHN to MHN, getting exposure to multiple adjudication systems, why would they expect you to know theirs if you never worked for them? They are trying to thin their application pool is my guess. Besides, they are always hiring for the same positions over and over and over...rinse repeat. Maybe not hiring at all just ghost listings.
What state are you looking for employment in? I’ve been with Molina for nearly 10 years.
Oh wow! That’s amazing! I’m located in FL looking for a remote role. I’ve been trying to get into Molina for the longest!! Would you mind if we get in contact via email or number to chat?
Have you connected with anyone currently working there for a referral or anything? Or maybe reach out to the department you're interested in to shadow an afternoon mentioning you are interested in a future career with Molina? Not sure this helps, but best of luck either way!
On LinkedIn I have tried getting in contact with people who work there but no luck there I get ignored or aren’t followed back to get in contact with them. I’ll see if I can shadow someone working in a department for their organization. Thanks!
Took me 3 years … kept trying don’t give up ! Good luck ‘
Thanks. They finally got back to me. They wanted me to take an entry-level position that I am over qualified for for way less than I already make. I said no, thank you. It's for the best.
Show up and speak to a manager. Or to the HR office.
ToC Coach. Got recently hired. 0 experience related to the field. My only saving grace is that I am a nurse. It’s not bad… it’s remote. But it’s a lot of tedious work, and numbers and metrics for them. I’m not trying to deter you (or anyone else for that matter), but it is possible to break through without related experience or connections. They literally chose me on a whim.
They get hundreds of resumes best way to get in is to be referred by someone that works at Molina no mater which state, they can see in the system if referred. Most of the time they get hundreds of resumes and have a hR recruiter scream them so make sure your resume matches the job description. It can take time managers are super busy and review when they can. Try to get in at the corporate site not the health plan side was they are pay better, slow more remote positions and more organized seem to treat employees better.
