Does anyone else go through seasonal depression with work after January 1? I feel like that happens to me every year and it’s not until end of March I feel better. Work stresses me out more. It’s not really that it’s Q1 but that doesn’t help either. I don’t like anything going on. I really just feel like leaving the industry sometimes to be dramatic and then I always get out of it and then I get busy with a project and I fall in love again. It’s a vicious cycle. I’m glad I’m self-aware.

Yes, but get a happy lamp on Amazon. Just a few minutes a day. Also it really helps to increase your daily sleep a bit & then be rigid about waking up at the same time every day. And some exercise will help, nothing crazy but rotating between a little cardio & weights a few times a week. Feel better!

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?

I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack.
