Awh I don’t own a dog but I can tell you what’s wrong.
Your dog is a VERY good boy/girl. And with that comes rewards in the form of treats/belly rubs/ fetch/and more treats! If you think your job is to do anything but those things then you should give your pup a treat right now 😊 🐶!
oh my dog just jumps on my lap during calls. [He’s a Jack Russell so he can easily jump from the floor to my lap]. I’ve given up.
Not crying, but my puppy barks or bites me for attention.
I honestly haven’t figured out a good way to manage her. Giving her a rawhide or some other long-chewing stick treat has been helpful. Unfortunately I think I’m just training her to be noisy because now she knows how to get a LOT of treats out of me during the day 🤷🏻♀️

I tried that but then our treats are gone in minutes 😅
Get one of those red rubber toys. Stuff it with peanut butter right before your call.
I do this with my huskies and it last like a whole 5 mins. However, if I being proactive and I know ima need them to be calm I’ll put their Kong’s with the peanut butter in the freezer and I get like 15 minutes 😂
I would just put my puppy on the back of my chair so he would sit against my back and the back of the chair. He loved being close to me and would quietly sleep while I was on work calls.
D2, your huskies are spectacular!
I’d love to see coworkers having a dog on their laps during our calls. Although I might ignore what they have to say and focus on the canine
I was on a call and the team couldn’t see my dog [he was on the couch] and someone asked where he was

My pup is almost 4 months old, we're trying to get her to stop barking for attention and the key is to just ignore it. But that can be hard when you're on a call. Try some treats when she stops
I’ve gotten my dog to quiet down a little by working on the couch and snuggling with her, but then she does this...obv I cannot move her.
