Hi!
I work with Clients from all over the world. Im based in Iceland and have Clients who are in the US West Coast but also those who are in Australia (and everything in between :).
I do my best to accommodate their schedules but there´s also need for their flexibility too. Depending on our schedules I might start earlier/finish later but I dont wake up in the middle of the night.
Not sure what you do but if and when possible, the best time to clarify mutual expectations and set meetings that suit all of you is at the very beginning of your relationships.
All the best!
Hi OP! Great question, I recently interviewed for an agency and the biggest red flag was “getting hands dirty” and “picking up everyone’s load”. It is important to mention that this agency was my former client. They never respected my time and always wanted the work done immediately. There was no flexibility offered so I was looking at being on-call 24*5.
You gotta pick and choose your battles, could be a great point of discussion with the client - Assure them that you are keen to meet their expectations but are also putting your health first. No harm in being transparent, it improves client-business relationships.
