I do dog walking and house sitting on the side. It's not for everybody because I have a lot more freedom than the average person, given that I'm single with no kids. But I make a few thousand dollars a month just by staying in people's homes, watering their plants, and keeping their animals alive.
What housesitting platform do you use? I created a trustedhousesitters account but have yet to complete it and start sitting. Any advice?
If you’re decent at school grade work or college work tutoring brings in some additional cash. I make $25 an hour which doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s tax-free.
Can you share how you got started? All I have is some volunteer experience tutoring middle school math and English. I originally wanted to be a teacher before changing my major to business, and the tutoring I did was from a long time ago. Thanks!

Ebay. I made some costly mistakes at first, but it's paying off now. It really helps to have a niche that you're knowledgeable about.

What do you sell?
If you good with your hands and know how to build stuff. Try building dog houses, chicken coops depending on where you live. Even making personalized flower beds or fountains. Post them to facebook markets and other sites like etsy and people buy that stuff up like crazy especially when its one of a kind.

Depending on your interests:

-Resell your clothing you no longer want/need online
-UpWork sometimes comes through
Check out Outschool. You don't have to have a teaching certificate or degree.
I do DoorDash on the side. Although it does not make a ton of money, if you have a fuel efficient vehicle (so not a truck) it can generate $500 to $1,000 net each month, which is pretty good considering most people already own a car (aka the means of production).
I rent a room in my house through FurnishedFinder. Usually to medical travelers. An extra $1000.00 a month in my pocket.

One of the most attractive "under-the-radar" opportunities for mobile creatives is "factoring broker". A great part-time business that pays residual income for the life of the account.
