Hello Fishes 🐟🎏
I am rigorously looking for a job from past few months and tried applying many opportunities i came across, but everywhere I receive is Rejection or No response at all. I am not sure what needs to be added to my profile to get more attention or is it really something because of my Notice period which is 90 days at HCL.

If you have your PMP, was it worth it?
I’m in between projects. I have been for a while now. So if anyone is looking for a freelance copy and u/x writer, put me in coach! I’m available to work.
Check out my portfolio and let me know if we’re a good profit match.

Pull examples of their priorities from the job description and use those to guide how you talk about your experience in relation to the job.
Make sure to share measurable results: budgets managed, money saved, number of projects run at once.
Ask about their past experience with PMs. What went well? What didn’t? Use it as a way to relate to how you would address existing concerns and share about your work processes.
Make sure to provide examples of your organizational, planning, and communication skills! Also, anecdotes showcasing your tenacity and ability to be a self starter. Good luck!

Hiring manager line up your skills and tie it to the job description. If you go to the next level meaning an interview with the person you’ll report to aka your boss. Focus on the STAR interview technique.
Don’t forget to look everyone up on LinkedIn. Send out thank you emails no later than 24 hour’s Good luck 🍀
ChatGPT can help parse out the most important skills the ideal candidate would have if you paste in the JD.
Go in as calm and confident as possible. It's easy to get nervous in interviews, especially when you're new to your field, and then draw blanks on answers to questions you know.
Confidence and presentation makes a much better first impression than knowledgeable but nervous.
Don’t be crushed if you don’t get it. Times are extremely hard for PM open roles right now. If you don’t get it, consider asking the interviewer directly for feedback. I’ve had bad luck with HR generalists responding to requests for feedback.
That said, experienced PMs aren’t getting called back because hirers are opting for less experienced people so they can pay them less. So it can end up working in your favor.
Thanks for updating the SPM market, I've been getting calls but fighting going back.
Focus on your P&L for projects. As well as, timelines /workbacks, deliverables, SOW creation and documentation (Technical specs and Functional specs too), release management, how you overcame challenges, how you find solutions to challenges, change order management, resource management for multiple projects and time tracking and team management (cross-functional). Those are more than likely going to be the bulk of the question areas. Think through examples of past jobs you've managed and be able to talk through the challenges and wins for each. Demonstrate how do you get it done on time and on budget. Good luck.
Communicate the value you've added to projects and other contributions you've made to the team. I look for people that are agents of change, and willing to recommend changes to processes before they get too ingrained in what we do on a daily basis.
