Does anyone have experience with moving to Montreal as a US-trained lawyer? I understand Quebec has a different system than other provinces, but it has been difficult to find information on how equivalency gets assessed, to what extent experience practicing in the US (6+ years) will carry over, and how feasible it is to start work while sorting out some of the qualification steps in parallel. Any tips or resources would be much appreciated!
