Hi all, need some advice here, like a lot of others here, Google is definitely a dream company for me to work at. I come from a non-technical background, currently working as a project manager + associate product manager (20% project situation) at a SaaS company. I would really appreciate the input on my chances for a Program manager/ associate product manager role. Also, what are some of the key skills that are utilized extensively in these roles, which google considers a great asset?

After 4 years in consulting I think I’ve lost most of the hard skills that made me employable when I first graduated. I know if I stay they’ll continue to diminish so I’m stuck in a hole of buzzword project shithousery. How can I go about fixing this?

FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice. Based on discussions with partners in the practice, I would be brought in as an experienced manager with opportunity to promote to senior manager in FDD next year. Fellow introverts...can I only advance in my career if I take on a leadership role? The thought of this terrifies me.
