Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

Nope
You're moving to NYC on a Houston salary??! 😳
D4 is wrong
There is no cost of living adjustment. Is this really that hard guys?
Nope. NYC peeps live like students
No
Damnit! Well thanks for the answer everyone
Only your year end bonus range is affected. Cities are ranked between one and three. The higher the ranking, the larger your YE bonus has the potential to be. Houston is a three. NYC is a one. Ask your Senior Managers / Parter. They should be open with you about this.
Only if they ask you to transfer - then you can negotiate - not the other way around

D4 is wrong. I know a top-performer who left the firm over this.
Sounds good Consultant 1, we can be broke together
D6 is Chicago a 1?
You should ask what the adjustment is
You got screwed on that deal!
I know plenty of people who asked for and got an adjustment when moving offices to SF from a smaller city
There a calculator online to do a direct comparison of cost of living. You're ok if you live in Jersey and travel. So long as you aren't eating and paying rent in the city.
Nope
Trying to transfer to the SF office. Hopefully D4 is right for me. 😭
Does salary get adjusted if you move to a cheaper cost of living market?
