115k/yr job with 7% 401k matching, medical/dental/ pension plan also Federal job. Or $100/hr contracting no benefits. Pros and Cons of each?

I just completed the interview process at CGI, the HR called thereafter saying that I've cleared all the rounds and they'd like to give me an offer. They also sent a couple of mails for required documents. But I am yet to receive the offer letter, is this usual?

I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.

When you say your salary jumped __x, how is that exactly calculated?

Mine was $16k (minimum wage before joining corporate) > $40k (contractor total before getting laid off) > $150k (current FT)?

Is that a 260% jump or 2.6x from $16k to $40k?
And a 375% jump or 3.75x from $40k to $150k?

Or do I calculate it by hourly rate?

I had my first IVF transfer yesterday and for the 3 days leading up to the transfer I was having very painful cramps (normal for me) and the cramps have continued post transfer. They only last ~15 minutes after taking Tylenol but they are intense. I’m worried the cramps will interfere with implantation. Does anyone have experience with this? I told my doctor and she didn’t offer much advice other than staying hydrated and following the protocol.

So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...
