I’ve asked for work but no luck. I know they say this is normal for a stub but when should I start getting worried and consider looking for exit options? Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).

I had a baby almost a year ago. I should start a 529 account for my child but I am originally from France which also makes her a French citizen and she could easily go to college in France for not much money. It’s pretty much free there, I have 0 Student loan debt. With that in mind, a 529 would not be super helpful if we go that route. Should I consider other options? Do you have suggestions? Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me.
