Does anyone know what the typical comp structure is like for a CEO of a small ($5M annual revenue) privately funded corp? I assume like $250k + bonus + commission of some sort? Any details from exper?

***Assume equity is out of the equation****

$5M? Not $250k base since that would be 5% of revenue. Depending on their growth objectives and potential, you could leverage profit sharing and performance bonus for much higher total comp certainly

Apologies, I meant less than $50M**

That’s probably more doable

Based on small portfolio companies of private equity funds, I would assume 250-300 is pretty accurate with a bonus of up to 100%. Once you hit $100m in revenue, you start hitting 400 base + 4-600 bonus. Bonus = stock and cash equivalents.

S2, this is the feedback I was looking for. Thanks. Any idea how the bonus would be structured? Like is the bonus entirely based on achieving a certain top line / bottom line?

I haven’t done a lot of work structuring the agreements / compensation plans, so I wouldn’t know for sure. But would strongly assume it’s tied entirely to bottom line and top line targets.

Why would the CEO not get equity?

My post literally says stock and cash equivalents...

I'm 28 in DC and make 225k (150 base, the rest guaranteed bonus and RSUs). I am thinking of buying a place. Looking at townhomes in DC and it's hard to find something under 750k with most being over 800k. Wondering what the fish here think. Is that too much based on my income?

Given all the recent buzz about expected large raises around the big 4, I’d like to level set on the average salary for a 4th/5th year female senior manager in federal tax ( credits & methods group) in the Midwest - Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit market. Anyone willing to share a range if they work in a similar area of tax / similar level? I recognize all groups vary greatly in salary expectations, so looking for input specific to my area. Current expectations set at 140-160k. Reasonable?

I make $132k~ base+bonus before tax at a boutique in a T2/LCOL city (Atlanta, Houston, Salt Lake City). Good benefits, excellent culture and wlb. I'm an expert in my niche and overall a very conscientious and competent person. I get my work done in 20 hours or so each week. Some months I average less than 10 hours of actual work. I've been wanting to get a T15+ MBA for some time, but most exits have poor WLB. Am I crazy for wanting to leave my current gig? (cont)
