Does anyone know why it takes 2-3 weeks to hear back from an initial video/phone interview? Just to be rejected through a standardized rejection email? What is happening to humanity? Where is the empathy? I’ve been searching for a year. Worked for a big corporation and was told that I the company was too big or I may want more salary. Can I catch a break? Does my career stop at 3+ years of experience only now? Please help.

However, the job offer 1k less than my current company, but I thought this will be boost my growth and experience. Was my choices a smart move? I’ve built a reputation I’m proud of @ my company. I’m underpaid for what I do (started as an intern) & recently asked for a market adjustment. Management acknowledged that I’m undervalued & plans to set me up for a promotion. It’d come with more responsibility, which doesn’t align with my goals.

Is it wise for me to remain open to a promotion just for increased pay? Or should I be transparent with management about my goals (& possibly not get the pay I’m asking for)? Or any other tips?
