Do you know someone who can refer you to a hotel? If not, that’s OK. I always just go to the hotels website and apply online directly. That’s the best way to do it.

I’d imagine it works like other employers, apply and wait for an answer. If you can find the hiring manger’s email, maybe send your resume and application directly to them
It depends on where you are applying. If you apply on LinkedIn, it tells you who the hiring manager is. You can always send them a LinkedIn message as well.
Search for hotels in your area and see if there are positions open. The best advice is to see what each job is asking for and write your resume to reflect what they need.
I don't, but I'm guessing it's just like any other industry. You just have to focus on getting that first "foot in the door" job, whatever it may be. See what entry-level opportunities are out there and then have Chat GPT take your current resume and reposition it to be more relevant for the roles you're seeking. It'll probably take some time, but if you're consistently applying, you should be able to land something sooner than later.
