Got a house with extra space for dedicated office. I can disconnect to get work done and I get to take so many 5 min breaks to spend with the infant / toddler.

Idk, I’m sure it’s not cost effective l but I totally sympathize. I cannot stand wfh (no kids) , even in college I always needed to be at the library or a building…

Yeah that's cheap. Do it!
I thought at the firm if you weren’t traveling you could choose to go into a Deloitte office? You should be able to use office space there rather than paying for a wework.
Gotcha, the “Deloitte” tag confused me
Currently 100% at home with no travel and no office in my city. My company pays for me to access wework but do not have dedicated space which means it is essentially akin to going to a coffee shop (with free coffee) for the 1-2 days or less a week I use it. For short phone calls I either take them where I am sitting or go to the dedicated “phone booths”. For days with a heavier call schedule I usually book a conference room for extra $ or stay at home. It’s good for breaking the weekly monotony and glad to have the option but I find I don’t use it as often as I’d expect.
I work from wework in midtown Manhattan. $299 a month, worth it
I run one of the Regus centers and I can tell you that at my center I have a couple of people who have rented a dedicated coworking space and they enjoy it very much. The Open space is not like a coffee shop in anyway, this is a space for quite work (no phone calls/zoom meetings are allowed) so that everyone can work and concentrate. There are dedicated phone booths to take a phone call/zoom meeting. Still, this is center specific. It depends on how the person who runs the center conducts/manages his/her open space and the center at large.
