Meal prep and exercise while dialing in on useless calls. Makes me feel productive!
Remember that maintaining your productivity will help your firm avoid cost cutting measures ...
I plan to work about 3 to 4 hours a day since my kids are also home. That’s the best I can do

Setting a schedule - doing Instagram live workouts in the middle of the day and putting my instapot on a timer the night before so that lunch is ready at noon
Vyvanse and Adderall. Now that I don’t have as many distractions at home (as opposed to the office), I’m thinking about asking my doctor to decrease my dosage.
I haven’t changed my morning routine (with the except of not putting on makeup and a suit). I now wear form fitting gym clothes and only change into comfy clothes once the work day is over so that I keep the muscle memory of “work clothes” and “home clothes”. I’m still meal prepping every Sunday - it’s been very difficult though, cause when you’re at home, you can just throw chicken nuggets in the oven hah.
I’ve been (trying) using the Pomodoro (sp?) method, with 2 hour/15 minute intervals (focus for 2hrs, 15 min break). During my 15 min breaks, I’ve rewarding myself with playing my Nintendo Switch.
I also try to leave my apartment at least twice a day to keep my sanity.
Do you have ADHD? I didn’t know you could take vyvanse along with Adderall. What is the diff between the two? Adderall hasn’t been a magic bullet for me.
I’ve been starting work at 6 and I watch old tv shows I’ve seen a million times while I work. I have a lot of work that just consists of writing reports. I’ve watched avatar, legends of korra, and am currently watching Sabrina (don’t judge). I also use the pomodoro technique and brain.fm when tv isn’t enough of a reward or if I’m doing something more complex.
I take lots of walks too. There’s a greenbelt with a trail next to where I live, and it can be pretty peaceful.
It hasn’t been a problem since I also did all my bar prep from home and my office was still (mostly) set up. I’ve got a boatload of work to do, so I keep a running to do list. I try to organize it by day.
I shut my door when I’m done working done the day, and that helps.
Well, had to have a 4-way telephonic hearing on an application for a restraining order this morning, so that was interesting.
On a “productivity” note, I have a one-year old and my wife is at home. I just wake up about an hour before the boy does, work until he wakes up from his morning nap, break for lunch, go back to work during his afternoon nap, then pretty much shut it down when he wakes back up.
I had to set up shop in the basement due to having 3 kids. My wife was a stay at home “warden” before this mess. So we keep a pretty regular schedule, except that I eat lunch with the kids and the commute is better.
I have literally never been busier. While some things have slowed since the pandemic, I have taken over some other projects and have been crushed.
