Fun fact: the reason so many people say "I can't function until I've had my morning coffee" has nothing to do with caffeine's stimulant properties (which are kind of modest) and everything to do with satisfying your body's craving. You're addicted, and that first cup is soothing your body's withdrawal symptoms from overnight deprivation.

Yup^ if you drink caffeine every day it's just getting you to normal, not adding anything to really wake you up. Do a detox week and then never have caffeine more than 2 days in a row and you will feel it a lot more.

Don't usually take caffeine. When I really need something to wake me up, I take redbull and it jolts me awake. Super efficient.
