Hi IBM sharks 🦈
So I got interviewed for a project by the IBM team. The interviewer told me that its a go ahead from their end, now the client will assess my profile and if they too are fine with it, I will be onboarded?
Is it true that we have client interview as well? If yes then after how many days of interview by IBM team, client interview takes place?
Or its just that if the IBM team is fine with it, we are selected for the project?
Any inputs on this will really help :)

All I'm hearing is that this guy is way better at getting paid than I am.
Same!
My old boss is continuing his tour of every Pharma agency. He continually lands really plum gigs and lasts 6-9 months at most before people find out he has no idea what he’s doing. I kind of feel bad for the guy, but then remember that he’s getting those jobs over people who are actually qualified for them.
Name and shame or admit you’re enabling this.
I do have a couple of these. "Coincidentally" they're both male. 🤷
I have one counter example! A woman I worked for got fired for being sleazy AF and trying to bring in a company that she was part founder of and then leveraged into something even more senior and now teaching in B-school. She could talk circles around any man or woman I know…

These are my favorite people in the industry.
Yes. Actually hired the guy earlier in his career. Lasted 6 ugly months of pure laziness/personal social media. I will say he is the master of the right level of ambiguity on his LinkedIn profile which isn’t technically lying about his role on impressive projects, but is the equivalent of a realtor describing the “amazing views” an apartment has because the inside is like a crack den.
Several. Maybe not the worst offender but one of the most annoying is Matt Kerbel, current VP Marketing at Homie.
Small world. I think I actually booted him from my connections.
I feel like I know one from every past job. Currently work with one now.
Gift of the gab will take you a long way
What I want to know is how they continue to fail up when they are idiots AND assholes.
If I had a fraction of that charisma…
Failing upwards is quite a skill
Is it him?
He is you in another reality
Do they know that they don’t know what they’re doing? Or are they the perfect mix of blissfully ignorant + crazy charismatic
For the ones I know of, a little bit of everything. They know just enough to not say the wrong things, but not enough to actually do anything good. They're not always charismatic but definitely very sociable. They get the hookups because they hang out with or befriend the right people. Being "one of the bros" goes a long way.
