All those benefits you get including weekends off, unions fought for those so maybe brush up on your history.
I fully support unions and I love to see it when they band together and strike without unions the working conditions in this country as a whole would be so much worse I think the only people that don’t support unions or corporations themselves, and the people that kind of brainwash
So many benefits to non-union are a result of Unions.
I lived and worked in New Zealand in the 90s. We didn't get the benefits of a union. I also worked all day on my feet in an open kitchen without a single break. That's why I support unions
I'm always in favor of employees doing what they need to to secure better wages. Unions tend to do more for advancing that cause than any other organizations, so they have my full support.
There are good and bad unions out there. Overall unions are important, we still see some awful working conditions, and without unions it would be that much worse of a situation. I had no idea Costco employees had a union, it will be interesting to see what happens in the next couple weeks.
In general, I really support unions and workers protections, but I have noticed that a lot of US unions operate more like corporations that sort of pay their upper management well and don't always protect/represent the workers. I would be even more pro-union if they were actually grassroots (my nursing union is definitely not)
In favor of unions for situations where the working conditions are unsafe or workers are exploited.
It is not a blanket support…not all situations require unionization.
