Is there such a thing as work/life balance as a PA?

Just wondering if any Junior designers feel the same but I work as the only graphic designer in a small digital marketing agency and lately there isn't any new projects and work coming in at least in my "department". No one is really touching base on anything but I'm still getting paid a salary ($42k/y). I worry that they may just cut me off any time soon since I feel I haven't been contributing as much as I want despite reaching out for any new requests. Thought?

Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period.
