During a live show, my carefully written caption got covered by an ad banner for sandwiches. Weeks of polish, gone in a second. Has your work ever been completely overshadowed by something random?

All the time. It don't take it personally, advertising pays the bills and keeps me employed.

Nothing humbles you faster than your work losing to a sandwich deal.

Don’t get me wrong, I like DD and Airbnb, but the $100+/share seems odd to me given that both are susceptible to regulatory and overall consumer confidence. I was able to buy into PLTR for $11/ share fwiw and think that company has better long-term upside prospects.
But again, would love to better understand the DASH and ABNB mania. Feel like I’m missing something

The argument that climate change is not man-made has been disproven by science over and over again, yet many people believe that the global crisis is either not real, not of our making, or both, in part because the news media deliberately chooses not to talk about it because it doesn't sell enough.

"Don't Look Up" is as real as it can be.
