I am Java Backend Developer with 3.6 years of experience in financial services domain. I have two offers- one from AppDirect (16 LPA +10% yearly bonus), other from Mastercard (16.5 LPA+7% variable with 100% payout at year end). AppDirect seems very employee first company with work on front-end(major)+backend. Mastercard is in same domain I have knowledge of.

Everything used to pay $350k on target earnings. Tech is booming but I am noticing pay has dropped substantially despite inflation. I am seeing $300k ote and most roles are set up to not hit plan. Does anyone have insight here? It sends a clear message. Just thinking experienced sellers are going to leave or pivot because they follow the money and they are going to get less experienced sellers.

Hi! I need some help negotiating a raise. I have been working for this company for exactly 3 months now, but I was hired as an AGM. I'm not specific on what my responsibilities are as AGM.
However the GM at the time, quit 1 and a half months in. I was thrown into the role and have been handling it since.
My regional calls himself our GM but is never on site.
Was reluctant to cover my shifts when I became sick and requested time off for a few days. (4 days)
