I love remote work. No interruptions, I can set my space how I need it, I can actually focus!

I completely relate to the focus part. When you remove constant interruptions, the amount of deep work you can actually complete changes dramatically. For tasks that require concentration, remote work can be incredibly productive.

I prefer hybrid, I don't like to be isolated full time but I like being able to get some respite from the commute and the overstimulation of going in.
When I was working remotely I had a hard time getting used to it at first. Being in my own apartment was just too distracting. I finally got to where I felt very productive working at home, though it began to feel too isolating. When I had to return to the office I grumbled about it like everyone else, but I honestly don't mind it too much. I don't like the commuting, but I do like the camaraderie in the office.

That balance is exactly the tension many people feel. Remote work offers focus and flexibility, while the office brings connection and energy. Hybrid seems to work best when people can get both without too much rigid structure.
I get more done at home than I do in the office, but I do like collaborating in the office. I don't mind a hybrid schedule. I would prefer to be at home three days a week and in the office the other two.
Jobs barely exist as is and hybrid is about as much of a perk that will happen in some positions. Otherwise, onsite position 100% over being unemployed.
