How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?
Seeking honest advice here.

You can always come back to a big firm. Take it but check the following first:
1. Culture / type of leaders
2. Clients and projects
3. What does the career growth look like
All the best.
Does it pay better?
It does pay better @pwc1. But I guess my dilemma is if I waited another year or two, I would reach that pay level.
@s1
1. Culture - Not sure will find out soon I guess.
2. Client - looks good with longevity.
3. Growth - Not sure will find out soon I guess.
But yeah my plan was always to boomerang if it didn't work out.
Where are you now and where's the new city? I'm assuming it's a ~20% bump if you think you can get there in a year or two if you stayed?
More like 11-18% not counting bonus (given that everything is still in early talks).
I'm not really into getting my MBA because I don't want to accumulate more debt, so my only other option is OTJ for management. That's really more enticing to me. I just feel like I'm stuck in a SME Role and I need to breakout.
@DD1 New city is Dallas. I already live in TX. Not Austin.
