Interviewed at Deloitte, PwC and EY for Advisory Senior Consultant role. Deloitte offered $105K (plus $5K bonus), PWC offered $127K (plus $15K bonus) and EY offered $155K (plus $10K bonus). Surprised with the difference in pay between Deloitte & EY for same role. Is Deloitte Advisory paying less compared to other firms? 4.5YOE in Consulting.
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

If you don’t want to do 10+ hours a day McK is not for you, and I suspect BCG won’t be either.
Sounds like a VC firm with an incubator would be the way to go. You can work with multiple startups as a content expert, and eventually dip your toes in as a co-founder before you fully build your own thing
I've checked on LinkedIn in the US for 'incubator', 'venture builder, etc., and not too much shows up.
In fact, YC doesn't even list any jobs in there, like BCGDV and Leap. I wonder if the roles are just scarce, or if they hire through other means.
What do folks at BCG dv do? I was pinged by an recruiter but but got cold feet because it seemed like a specialist track
Depends on the specific role: a fair number are client facing specialists (designers / user researchers / PMs / growth marketers) but the Venture Architect cohort typically does similar work to the generalist track (ex. GTM strategy, business model design, investment case)
Had the exact same thought, joined BCG DV, and have found it to be an incredible experience so far - highly recommend
Re. hours: depends on the case and the cohort (in general the roles that are more closely analogous to the standard consulting track can be pretty similar hours-wise). Re. ownership: 100%, we usually deliver MVPs in addition to slides / models etc.
We explicitly hire Venture Builder role, it's a pretty cool job (including direct elect partner level).
