McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!

Unless you don't like your current function I'd wait. But also you should discuss this with the recruiting team at Deloitte.

I'm okay with current function. Deloitte recruiter claimed it would be better to wait, too. Just wanted additional opinions.

@d2 yes and as an examples we just got an email today introducing a manager who recently moved into M&A
@D3: not trying to remain anonymous from you or Deloitte peeps. But, logically at this juncture, I think it makes sense that I wouldn't want my identity known to my current employer. Appreciate the nuggets of advice from all and happy to connect.
@D3 was the new managers background similar at all?
@D2 it looks like he successfully got staffed on M&A projects to the point where he got proficient enough to transfer. Probably started by helping with proposals and getting to know SMs and Ms since they really do the staffing. PPDs are good to know but SMs and Ms are who I’ve always talked to in order to get staffed
