Ugh, tv bill went up $30 cause promotion is up... called twice and both reps said they can’t offer new joiner promo. even said I was gonna cancel! They couldn’t match! They are getting tough

Is it feasible to push from promotion from SM to D with under 1 years tenure at the firm, or would that not be entertained? Opportunity in the team, SM grade is over staffed with more coming in, no Directors, and have been high performer (based on metrics, sales and developed strong network)

I'm 6 months old at D! Planning early promotion next year.. counselor and pm both are backing me.. I need to go to India for at least 4 weeks in Dec ... most probably would be rolling off from current project by then .. would this vacation hurt my promotion chances coz of utilization etc?

An agency I freelance for wants to hire me full-time. They told me for a Sr Copywriter, 100-110k. I countered with 125-150.

I also said I'm interested in a higher-level title - I currently freelance as a Creative Director of Copy elsewhere (they don't have that title at this agency.)

They came back and said yes to the title and to 125, with a 6 month review that could raise it to 145.

Which is good for Sr Copy, but low for CD/ACD level. Don't want to screw myself over. What to say now?

I'm a Business Analyst with over 10 years experience, been in the same company for the whole time, Currently, I'm below Average Industry standards by approx. 10% for my (current) role.

I have applied for internal job which is effectively one level above, meaning it would be a promotion.

I have a really great production coordinator that’s working under me and because of money issues, he hasn’t been given a raise or promotion in nearly two years. He works his ass off and everyone loves working with him. Does any know of any junior producer roles at agencies? Would love to help him out.

I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. Hello folks, I’m after some advice please. I recently bought a couple of indoor plants and added to the cart what I think is a very expensive bottle of natural mist to use on the leaves. All organic, glass bottle etc. supposed to use it 2-3 times per week but 2 weeks in I’m down to half a bottle and it was £15 (approx $20).
