Failed BEC retake by 6 points. Cried. For 15 minutes, then went back to work lol.

Took a month off from studying (after exam) and not sure how to move on.

Company isn't supportive of my studying. I work to 8 or 9 on a good day, 13 hour shifts during close. Not sure where to move from here.

My strong suits in BEC were IT and Econ. Should I be one of the first guinea pigs for the disciplines? Move on to REG or AUD instead? Tackle FAR first? Stop studying until I get a new job?

Don’t take so long. Max 6 weeks from now. Your weekends are over. Sorry,

uplifting

I started this CPA journey without a plan. I just caught the CPA FOMO (of all the FOMOs to catch man...) but also because I figured, with the whole CPA Evolution, might as well tackle BEC now vs never, ya know?

I made all sorts of study plans for BEC. Was focused on it for half a year. Now that BEC is over, I guess I just never planned out what was to come after BEC, especially given that I failed twice...

Sounds like you will be well suited for the ISC section of the exam maybe? I would start with FAR though as it’s a good base!

Good luck continuing the journey! It is doable but it sure does knock you down sometimes.

Hi #Urgent

Got the Offer Letter from
Citi upon accepting I also received the Background Verification (BGV) mail.

which says I need to provide the relieving letter/experience letter. But the thing is I have not received it (it will take some time). I only have resignation acceptance letter.

Can we still proceed for bgv process and tell Citi that I will provide the relieving letter later on when i get it.
