Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

Hi team, I have officially been promoted to Senior Recruiter, however they only gave me a $5k bump from $72k to 79k. That’s basically below the median standard 10% raise bracket. Being one of the highest performers and trainers, I feel as though maybe I should at least receive $85k at minimum. However, the terms “budget” and “company profits” being beneath forecast are the biggest reasons that I am not receiving a high salary. I understand times can be tough, but any advice to negotiate?

Anybody have side hustles that are completely different from what they do on their job? I’m currently working as a Product Manager building some APIs but really my biggest skill is data analysis and creating work for engineering teams. Not really sure how I could use these skills to build something of my own. I have a series of interviews for a Pardot BA within CSG (panel/practice director). I have experience using SF as an end user and also configuring basic functionality. I’ve done Pardot trainings on Trailhead and configurations of minor features (auto responder email templates, form handlers). I’m afraid I won’t have the technical depth/knowledge needed to pass. I’m great on the soft skills though. The hiring manager said it was fine I didn’t have a ton of exp but liked that I was eager to learn
