Maybe consulting isn’t the right fit then. It happens sometimes, but you may thrive in industry

Hi OP - You probably know this but I just want to remind you that what a certain set of people think about you should not affect how you see yourself.
It is one group of people at one firm. There are endless opportunities and journeys out there fit for each one of us. Seek and you shall find!
Sending you positivity! DM me if you need a referral to EY✨

Didn’t know you can be PIPed twice.

I’m sorry this is happening to you. My advice would be to look to switch firms while you’re still employed. You’d be amazed what a fresh start could do for you and literally everyone is hiring
Im happy to refer. Sponsorship will make it harder but it’s not impossible depending on skill set. Shoot me a DM and I can provide you with my email
Ah Deloitte - been there lived that; my habit of documenting every meeting with my career coach/Partners and every piece of feedback nipped that nonsense in the bud. Then accepted an offer with a 45% bump and left.
Happy to refer if you see any suitable roles at ACN where sponsorship is available.
D3 - documenting everything is what saved me from getting on a PIP. One of the Partners had an agenda (guess I didn't genuflect enough) and they thought I'd get bullied and go quietly into the gentle night.
Pointing out the fact that they had never raised these supposed performance concerns during any previous feedback sessions or documented them in Talkin kinda made their play look like the hack job it was.
Leaving Deloitte when I did was never my plan. Thought I'd be there a lot longer. The chicanery pushed me to test the market, and guess the market valued me more than Deloitte ever did.
I sincerely hope your naivete that performance is all that counts doesn't come back to bite you.

But you made it through after the first one. That’s a good sign in itself considering that most dont

OP- How was your mid year scatterplot?
Have you spoken with your coach? It’s mid year, ask your coach to reach out to your project leadership for optional mid year due diligence. They can directly ask if you are meeting expectations, if you are at risk for low performance, ask for opportunities for improvement and discuss if roll off is a better decision for the project.
The input from this discussion can help confirm if you are at risk for low performance which could later trigger PIP. *The good news is you have half of year left to turn this around, and not be placed on PIP at year end (after March). There are more snapshots left, so if you show improvement based on feedback, your snapshots would reflect that.

It was fine started on a new project and know the next scatterplot will be shit
Dm me for referral? Lol. But actually. Maybe the role just isn’t the right fit

I'm sad to say that 'pip' is a new term to me. Can someone fill me in?
In reality, a PIP is often a formality to avoid being sued when you fire someone
