Feel like I should be open with my SM that Friday productivity for the next month is going to take a hit...

How do you deal with imposter syndrome? I'm a new therapist and I work with a bunch of women who have been doing this for ages. They're all really sweet, but I can't help feeling like I'm way out of my league. I mostly see younger clients which I guess works in my favor, but I just feel like I'm totally incompetent compared to the women I work with.

Just got out of the Army and transitioned to the business world. I have no clue how to dress. I’ve worn a uniform almost everyday for 7 years. Anyone have any advice for how to dress in the workplace?

I find myself questioning basic politeness I’ve learned since a child. Wondering what everyone else thinks. I work with an associate. She’s great. When she does good work or something I’ve asked her to do, I, of course, say “thank you!” I don’t really expect a response. She always replies “you’re welcome!” Or some variation. And for some reason, that’s awkward. Is it just me? I know in normal manners, that is the right response. Why does it sit funny?

I’ve been working for a small investment firm for about a year and am having some issues with my boss. We have a weekly check-in but he’s ALWAYS 2-3 hours late, or skips the meeting altogether without warning. He also never replies to any of the emails I send. What is your understanding of the norms around whose names end up on a brief/complaint/motion papers etc.? I’m a midlevel at an AmLaw 20 firm and have twice been the principal drafter of something only to be cut from the signature block. The associate senior to me is on it despite having done far less of the work. And it’s not because it required a rewrite or something. The filed product is 80-90% my work.
